With Apple having their iconic stores and Google launching their Chrome stores earlier this year, it was only a matter of time before Android would get the same treatment.
In Australian retail outlet Telstra, they launched Androidland, a store within a store that showcases the latest Android smartphones and tablets to consumers. Melbourne customers were treated to a 154 square meter store which merged interactive technology including a Google Earth installation, smartphones, tablets, games like Angry Birds on wide screen and Android experts to help explain the features of theri operating system.
The store collaborates with Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG and HTC to bring the store to life and looks like its a dream place for any Android fans to test out the technology. Will it catch on enough for us to experience it in other parts of the world? One can only hope!
