Google Changes The Face Of Blogging With Slick New Blogger Templates
I’ve always been a WordPress man myself but Google’s Blogger product is incredibly popular and today there are a bunch of new reasons to start using it yourself. The launch includes new themes that use HTML5 to completely change the look and feel of their blog templates and I have to say they look very impressive indeed. It’s not just the look that will be changing because as they say themselves…
Dynamic Views is much more than just new templates. With just a couple clicks, you’ll get infinite scrolling (say goodbye to the “Older posts” link), images that load as you browse, integrated search, sorting by date, label and author, lightbox-style posts for easy viewing, keyboard shortcuts for quickly flipping through posts, and one-click sharing to Google+ and other social sites on every post.
When you first see most of these themes you have to think that they are made to fit in to a new smart phone dominated world and with tablets like the iPad in mind in particular. Given the fact that I have been using WordPress for years now I won’t be migrating anything over to Blogger but it certainly means that anybody starting off their blog should be having a serious look at blogger now.
