Hootsuite and Tweetdeck a review

In order to review and compare effectively it is important to understand what both Hootsuite and Tweetdeck do.

Hootsuite helps organizations use the social web to launch marketing campaigns, identify and grow audiences and distribute targeted messages across multiple channels, Hootsuite is aimed at small to medium businesses.

Tweetdeck is a personal browser for staying in touch with what is happening now, connecting you across your contacts across Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn and more. Tweetdeck appears to be aimed at a personal level to heavy social networkers who need help making it easier keeping all their social networks up to date.

Though Tweetdeck offers the ability to photo tweet and has great twitter interfacing,  for me Hootsuite wins out. Hootsuite offers the ability to schedule tweets, faster updates, provides great statistics, allows for the incorporation of additional social networks and allows for multiple accounts to be controlled by the multiple users.

Hootsuite is a must for any busy media savy business or blogger
