We have seen quite a bit of marketing in the last year on helipads around the world and today for the first time we see Northern Irish golfer Rory Mcilroy playing a bit of golf on one. This is no ordinary helipad either as it belongs to the Burj Al Arab in Dubai which is well known as the only 7 star hotel in the world and has an iconic look. Rory was the youngest US Open champion in over 80 years this summer which means that this video is going to get attention all over the world as everybody would love to have a go at this particular one. The one small problem is that I would much rather have seen him driving a ball in to the ocean at full force from his lofted position but I am guessing that health and safety and the image the hotel wants to portray got in the way slightly there! Either way you do have to agree that this is probably one of the most iconic shots ever played outside of tournament golf.
