Course Overview
Unlike to a lot of college courses (where your lecturers are academics who do not tend to work in industry), the Digital Marketing Institute’s Postgraduate Diploma in Online Marketing is delivered by expert practitioners who work in the digital marketing sector, in Ireland and internationally.
Your trainers, lecturers and tutors are thought leaders and practical experts working in the digital sector. Through this course, they share with you the very best practices, latest innovations and current thinking. In contrast with many postgraduate courses in marketing, this training programme is entirely industry-driven and is designed to help you meet the challenges of marketing on the internet. The Part-Time option takes place in Dublin, Ireland over the course of 1 Year. Classes are in the evenings and are therefore ideally suited to the working professional. Course starts in January and September.
The Full Time option takes place in Dublin, Ireland over 6 months. This comprises 3 months Full Time in the classroom followed by (if required) a 3 month internship. This option starts in June and September 2013. This course has been designed for the graduate student and professional with availability during the working daytime.
This course is also available as an online/blended option - ideal for professionals who are not able not able to travel to Dublin twice per week.
Accreditation
The Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing is Level 11 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). It is mapped onto Level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework, which is equivalent to Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing under the Irish National Qualifications Framework.

Admission Requirements
To apply for the Postgaduate Diploma in Marketing you must meet the minimum admissions requirements:

you must hold a recognised third level honours degree (minimum of a lower second class honours degree) along with at least 2 years working in an appropriate industry sector, or

you must have significant and suitable work experience in a marketing (or associated) role
