Lee was responsible for the Sales and Marketing functions at AND and while there he oversaw the launch and commercial development of various websites including ThisisLondon, Thisismoney, Soccernet and UKPlus.

Lee joined Yahoo! as Sales Director in 1999 and was subsequently promoted to the position of Commercial Director with responsibility for the UK and Ireland. He oversaw strong revenue growth and experienced at first hand the boom-bust-boom phenomenon of the 2000-2002 period.

Lee returned to Ireland in 2003 and worked as an independent consultant for a number of digital publishing brands. He was appointed launch Managing Director for Metro Ireland in early 2005 and oversaw the launch and development of this new publishing entrant. Lee left Metro in July 2008 to set up the digital sales agency, i-Believe. I-Believe is the commercial agent for various local and international media brands including Sky, DMGT, The Economist Group, Saongroup, Bauer Media, Future Publishing, IrishRugby.ie and many more.
